A base plate is used to keep the immediate surroundings of a picnic set tidy. It prevents weeds or grass from growing under the picnic set. The space around the base plate is easy to maintain, because the base plate is placed at cutting height. The base plate is also ideal for placing the picnic set stably on an uneven surface or on softer grounds.
Like all other Heblad products, the base plates are made of concrete. They have an anti-slip profile in the form of a criss-cross pattern. This finish ensures that neither the visitors or players or the table can slip on the base plate.
If you ensure that the sand bed is prepared at the correct height, we will deliver the base plate and place it in the right location. In order to actually deliver the base plate to the right place, it is important that we can park our truck no more than five meters away. In principle, all HeBlad picnic set models fit on the base plate measuring 248 x 236 x 7 cm, both the standard picnic sets and the oval picnic sets, as well as the wheelchair-accessible sets. The XL picnic sets require two base plates.
Base plates can also be ordered for our game tables and ping-pong tables. Here too, plates must be ordered additionally, they do not automatically come with the product.
